The late Rev. A.S. “Andy” Marsee was a well-known Baptist preacher throughout Knox County, Kentucky, once serving as pastor of Roadside Baptist Church at Boone Height, among other assignments.
Around 1976, David Lundy, who operated a recording studio in Knox County, recorded Reverend Marsee delivering a sermon entitled “Meet My Beloved at Calvary.” The recording also included church members singing two hymns, one unnamed at present and one entitled “I’ve Been to Calvary.”
