The Knox Historical Museum has completed its listing of the table of contents for the Knox County, Kentucky Kinfolk Newsletter.
Kudos to the Museum’s Doug Bargo who spent hours scanning in and converting “pdf” files into searchable text files.
The newsletter was published from December 1977 through May 2006 by the former Knox County Genealogical Society, Inc., based in Louisville, Kentucky.
In 2005, for reasons of health, the remaining founders of the society — Maxine Humfleet Jones and Virginia Jones Logan — transferred all issues of Kinfolk as well as other assets to the Knox Historical Museum, Inc. in Barbourville, Ky.
All issues of Kinfolk are currently available for research at the museum. The issues are also available for purchase online at this website, knoxhistoricalmuseum.org.
